A whopping 2.5 million weddings are expected to take place this year (yes, that’s A LOT of wedding gifts). And, after two years of relative quiet thanks to Covid-19, everyone appears to be going all out on celebrations and it will be gifts galore – but how do you make sure you are giving the best wedding gifts? It’s not just about gifts for the newlyweds. Many people enjoy offering something special, individually, to the bride or groom. Presents for members of the wedding party are also de rigueur.
As for the happy couple, wedding guests or invitees often like to go off-registry to choose a personal, or even unexpected gift for weddings. Sometimes these are the most memorable items. For instance, we often use our fine china for entertaining, even for more casual meals. I’m grateful for those who contributed to our French porcelain set but I don’t remember who actually gave me and my husband what plate or saucer. By contrast, I adore the couple who gave us our antique jewelry box, and when I use our silver bread and cheese knives, I recognize them fondly as a present from a former intern.
The gifts we have curated at To&From are terrific finds. Many items cannot be found on a typical store’s registry which will make them all the more special. Have a look at this terrific selection of wedding and event gifts for everyone, from the brides and grooms, to the bridesmaids and groomsmen and get inspired for this wedding season with the best wedding gifts!
