We started To&From with a broad vision: to improve gifting across the entire ecosystem — for gifters, giftees, and brands — by bringing together data and technology to create more meaningful, measurable moments.
We imagined a new standard for everyday and, of course, corporate gifting — thoughtful, delightful, and data-driven. We wanted to give every brand the power to differentiate not just by what they sent, but by how and why they sent it. It was, in hindsight, a boil-the-ocean approach. And as any successful entrepreneur will tell you, that’s a recipe for disaster. Live and learn.
So we narrowed. And then narrowed again. And then again. We honed in on B2B sales and marketing use cases — helping teams build pipeline and deepen relationships through strategic, intent-based gifting. And it worked. As we gained traction in this focused lane, we saw clear signals that we were solving a real problem.
But then something interesting happened: our customers started pulling us in a slightly new direction. They weren’t just looking to send gifts — they were looking for outcomes. They wanted stronger meetings, warmer leads, and stickier customer relationships. They needed a way to break through the digital noise, to stand out in an oversaturated landscape, to signal intent and spark action.
That’s when we realized: we weren’t just in the gifting business anymore.
